Abstract

Education is an important factor which influences social stratification and social mobility.Sociologists usually regard educational level as an important indicator to analyze social classes.Through a brief analysis of interaction between higher education and social stratification,social mobility in China since the late Qing Dynasty,the conclusion can be drawn: mutual influence between education and social stratification,social mobility,has always been closely linked with social development and progress.
