Effect of Cell Cycle Phase in Hela Cells on Apoptosis Induced by Tumor Necrosis Factor

Abstract

Objective To study effect of cell cycle phase in Hela cells on apoptosis induced by tumor necrosis factor.Methods Hela cells was arrested by cell cycle blocking drug TdR and synchronous Hela cells were prepared.Both synchronous Hela cells and normal cultured Hela cells were treated with tumor necrosis factor.Cell apoptosis was evaluated by MTT assay,flow cytometry and fluorescent staining.Results Synchronous Hela cells became increasing sensitive to TNF induced apoptosis.Conclusion It suggested that the apoptosis of Hela cells induced by tumor necrosis factor may be related to phase in cell cycle.
