Abstract

The features of a high-power IGBT driver IC IXDN404 produced by IXYS Corporation, are introduced. Based on these features and the practical requirements of IGBT driving, a useful driving circuit with over-current protection and slow-turned-off is designed. The circuit scheme and the experiment driving waves are presented.
