Abstract

To analyze the relationship among achievement goal orientation,self-efficacy and academic achievement,204 secondary school students were tested by Questionnaire method.Data were analyzed by SPSS16.0 program.The results indicated that:(1) Junior students' performance approach goal and performance avoidance goal differ significantly in sex and self-efficacy differ significantly in grade.(2) Mastery goal and performance approach goal were significantly related to self-efficacy and academic achievement..They were the positive predictors of self-efficacy and academic achievement.Performance avoidance goal have no significant correlation with self-efficacy.It could predict negative academic achievement.(3) Self-efficacy plays a partly role in the relevance between achievement goal orientation and academic achievement.
