Abstract
Core-shell structure copolymer (SEP) and EPDM have been used as PP toughening additives. The experimental results showed that the PP/SEP blends have higher toughening effect on PP than PP/EPDM blends. When SEP content is 10phr in PP, the Izod impact of PP/SEP blend is 7. 7 times higher than neat PP, and even higher than PP/EPDM blend with EPDM content 20phr.
