Abstract
During the period of Mid-Late Tang Dynasty,some scholars coming from Hebei(河北) Fangzhen(藩镇,seignior towns) had participated in the imperial examination,by which they had been officials of the Central or Local government. Through analysis of their examination manners and political background,we can see there still many scholars in He-Bei Fangzhen in Mid-Late Tang Dynasty,especially in Youzhou(幽州). The civil examination had been a legal channel of their passing in and out Hebei region,and became a systematic factor of promoting local Chinese cultural development during the second half of Tang Dynasty.
