Abstract

To optimize the extraction parameters of naringin and neohesperidin from Fructus aurantii by orthogonal design. Methods: Reflux, soxhlet, ultrasonic and microware-assisted techniques were used for the extraction of naringin and neohesperidin.Three factors(extraction solvent, time and temperature) and their levels were investigated by orthogonal design. Results: The optimal parameters in reflux extraction were 80% ethanol as solvent,40 min as extraction time and 60℃(temperature).The solvents were 95% ethanol for soxhlet extraction, methanol for ultrasonic extraction, respectively. The experiment results showed that the best efficiency can be achieved for microware-assisted extraction when the conditions are 80%ethanol,microwave extract power 400W,extract time 10min and temperature 40℃.Conclusions: The results suggested that reflux extraction with high productivity is appropriate for the production preparations, while soxhlet and microware-assisted extraction with convenience and efficiency are suitable for pharmaceutical analysis.
