Abstract
Aim and Methods: The effect of CCK-8 in hippocampus on SOD and MDA during seizure was studied by means of microinjection of CCK-8 and photochemical analysis in rats. Results:①Compared with wistar rats, the content of MDA and SOD activity in the brain were no change in P77PMC rats ( P 0.05). ②After seizure, SOD activity was significantly decreased( P 0.05) and the content of MDA was significantly increased( P 0.05)in the brain. Following the times of seizure increased, the increase of MDA and decrease of SOD changed more and more ( P 0.01).③ After injection of CCK-8 into hippocampus CA 3 area, the content of MDA and SOD activity were no change ( P 0.05); After injection of CCK-8 into hippocampus CA 3 area and inducing seizure, seizure became decreased and SOD activity was significantly increased ( P 0. 01) and the content of MDA was significantly decreased ( P 0.05) in the brain. Conclusion:After seizure the antioxidation ability of neurons in brain was decreased. CCK-8 could inhibit seizure and so enhanced the autioxidation ability of neurons in brain.
