Abstract
Objective To evaluate the disgnostic value and prognasis of nerve conduction velocity in Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS).Methods Distal motor latency and sensory conduction velocity of the median,ulnar,tibial and sural nerves were measured in 23 patients with GBS,also F wave latency(Fw) and F latency minimum(Flmi) of the median and tibital nerves.All of the data would be calculated and bandled in statistics.Results The abnormal rate of tibial nerve was highest,in turn was median,sural and ulnar nerves.However,there were no significant difference in them.No matter in early periold of GBS or recovering,the change of F-wave parameters was the earliest.Conclusions F-wave parameters are the sensitivitiest and specificitiest indexes in the diagnosis of GBS.
