Abstract
By reviewing the artistic studies on anthropology,the article analyzes broad and narrow cultural perspectives of anthropology when confronting folk art and rural art.The author holds that artistic anthropology has great room for development in China and that we should focus on artistic fieldwork to realize this goal.
