Abstract
Extracting oil and gossypol with acetone-hexane-water nonhomogeneous phase mixture from cake obtained by cool-repressing cottonseed flakes was studies in this paper. The optimum technological conditions were as follow:extraction temperature is 47℃,the ratio of the solvent mixture is 50∶50∶6(A∶H∶W,V∶V∶V),the ratio of the solvent and cottonseed is 5∶1(mL/g),extraction time is 150 min.Under the above conditions, the residual free gossypol content, total gossypol content and the residue oil of the meals were lower than 0.060%,0.80%,1.0% respectively.A expensive by-product(crude gossypol) was produced.
