Abstract

Objective:To investigate the primitive procedures of the subclavian vein puncture in order to improve the successful rate.Methods:X-rays of 110 patiens receiving the subclavian vein puncture were reviewed and the anatomical characteristics in x-rays were analyzed.A total of 140 operation patients were divided into test and control groups randomly. The patients of control group(70 patients) were performed the puncture according to traditional method. While the patients of test group(70 patients) were performed the puncture in improved method. Two methods were compared and the anatomical characteristics in x-rays were analyzed. Results:Subclavian vein catheterization usually lays behind one third of the inner surface of clavicle, usually not exceeds the up and down limitations of one third of the inner surface of clavicle. The one-time successful puncture rate of the test group was 78.57%,the total successful puncture rate 97.14%,the puncture time(13±6.2)min.The control group were 35.71%,85.71%,(18±7.6)min respectively. Conclusion:The modified subclavian vein puncture can improve the successful rate and shorten the puncture time.
