Abstract
While taking into consideration of the double reinforced retaining wall structure built as part of a certain highway expansion, this paper discusses the stress distribution on retaining walls using numerical simulated analysis. The Drucker-Prager Model is chosen to simulate the non-linearity of soil, the distribution law of the lateral earth pressures on the facing and tensile force of the reinforcements are analyzed and studied. The results of the finite element method(FEM),in accordance with the in-site measurement, can be used as a reference for future further application and dissemination.
