Study of lumbar disc herniation patients treated with Acupuncture and laser

Objective To explore the effect of patients with lumbar disc herniation treated with acupuncture and laser.Methods 98 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(49 in each).The treatment group received acupuncture with laser therapy,the control group simply received laser therapy.The effect of two groups were observed.Results Compared with before treatment,VAS scores of treatment group and control group were decreased significantly after treatment(P0.05),JOA score of two groups were increased significantly after treatment(P0.05),the degree of improvement of two indicators above in the treatment group were significat than control group.JOA improvement index in treatment group after treatment were better than control group(P0.05).Conclusion The effect of patients with lumbar disc herniation treated with the laser and acupuncture treatment is better.
