Abstract
Deng Xiaoping's concept of people's livelihood has rich content,mainly reflecting in the following three aspects as the concern of the sufferings of the people,striving to improve people's living standards and safeguarding the interests of the people;Deng Xiaoping's concept of people's livelihood takes the people's interests as the supreme principle,with distinct characteristics of the times;deeply understanding Deng Xiaoping's concept of people's livelihood is of important guiding significance for building a harmonious socialist society.
