The Poetry and the Formation of the Shangyuan Poetic Group

Shangyuan Poetic Group is one of the influential poetic groups in the 1980s.Established after the Traditional Poetic Group and the Rising Poetic Group,The group advocated the middle road in developing modern Chinese poetry.The formation,development and influence of the Group mainly related to the poetic ideas,poetic activities and some editors of the journal Poetry which concentrated the scholars and promoted their ideas to the readers.This might be regarded as one of the typical cases of expressing literal ideas through literal journals.
