Abstract

Objective: To assess the techniques of 64-slice spiral CT for coronary artery imaging and the value in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. Methods: Fifty-three patients with suspected coronary disease were received 64-slice spiral CT coronary artery imaging,25 of them received conventional coronary angiography. Results: Set the results of conventional coronary angiography as criteria, the sensitivity and specificity of 64-slice spiral CT coronary artery imaging for the diagnosis of coronary artery were 95.8 %and 94.3% respectively. Conclusion: 64-slice spiral CT coronary artery imaging has higher accuracy for the diagnoses of coronary artery stenosis, coronary stent lumen, and lesion of calcification.it may work as a noninvasive approach for the examination of coronary artery and follow-up of coronary artery stent implantation.
