Abstract

Objective: To investigate the quality control of laboratory test of bilirubin. Methods: Ser-um bilirubin was tested with vanadate oxidizing method, and then, the data were evaluated with tow factor analysis. Results; There was no notable difference between integral bilirubin results (IB) and direct bilirubin test results ( DBT) during a month that the F of the former was 0. 14, the F of the later 0. 36 (P 0. 10) There was no remarkable divergence between IB and DBT that the integral bilirubin' s F was 0. 72 and direct bilirubin' sF1.27 (P 0.10) The data showed that bilirubin test results were reliable. Conclusion: Variance analysis is a useful method to investigate tow factors, and it can help to discover, judge and correct errors if there is any.
