Abstract
Korean-Japanese relations are very important to each other in terms of bilateral relations. Korean-Japanese relations during the Cold War are in the pattern of US-Soviet Cold War, in the United States under the impetus has been targeted. With the end of the eighties, early nineties drastic changes in Eastern Europe and the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the collapse of the Cold War system, the Republic of Korea to rely on their own ever-increasing economic strength and international prestige, to adapt to changing international environment, gradually adjust its foreign policy towards Japan, it Japan relations have undergone different changes during the Cold War.
