Abstract

Objective: To detect the levels of grannulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF), tumour necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), Interferon-γ(IFN-γ) of peripheral blood plasma(PBP) and bone marrow plasma(BMP) from the patients with aplastic anemia and explore the relationship between those cytokines and the pathological mechanism of aplastic anemia. Methods:Endogenous G-CSF,TNF-α,IFN-γ in PBP and BMP were measured in 28 aplastic anemia patients and 20 normal controls with ELISA. Results: The levels of G-CSF, TNF-α, IFN-γ in BMP of the aplastic anemia patients were significantly increased than those of normal controls ( P 0.05-0.01), but there were no difference from PBP( P 0.05). Conclusion: The levels of endogenous G-CSF, TNF-α, IFN-γ in PBP and BMP were high, which presumed that the changes may play a role in the pathophysiological processes of aplastic anemia.
