There are vast literary differences between the east and the west in South Song Dynasty in patriotism expression, n Sheritan ce of litery style, varieties of poetry and other literary forms, etc. The differen ces result from the holding power of treacherous court officials, different liter ary traditions, and the exclusion of Sichuan scholars by the ruling group, etc. All these differences fuaction well in supplementing literature between the east a nd the west and adding to the richness and varieties of literature in South Song Dynasty.
