Review on Carbon Cycle of Wetland Ecosystem

The carbon cycle of wetland ecosystems plays an important role in the global carbon cycle,which is closely related to CO2 dynamics in atmosphere.Wetlands have an important role in storing carbon and the carbon stored in which accounts for 15% of total terrestrial carbon storage.Carbon cycle in wetlands is different from the other type carbon cycle due to it's special eco-hydrological process.The vegetation,climate and hydrological conditions do affect together on the carbon budget of wetland ecosystem.In this paper,the research results of carbon cycle in wetland ecosystem were summarized and analyzed,including the carbon source and sink,the biotic and abiotic factors and the analytical methods and so on.Additionally,some issues unsettled in wetland carbon cycle and the related research emphases in the future were put forward.
