Abstract
In acidic media, let the aqueous chlorine dioxide react with Fe 2+ , then have the residual Fe 2+ coloured with 1 10 phenanthroline solution We can quantify the content of chlorine dioxide in the water by detecting the difference of absorbance of the coloured solution The method is simple, innocuity, specific, quick, accurate and sensitive The range of detection is from 5 36×10 -3 to 1 33 mg/L R is 0 9997,CV is 2 55%
