Researches on Yicang in Song Dynasty

Since the Sui and Tang dynasties,Yicang had been gradually well devrloped to be an important national policy to help the poor.In view of this,since Taizu,the fisrt emperor of Song Dynasty,this system was pushed across the country,which was stopped and carried out repeatedly for five times and it was steadying after Emperor Gaozhong moved to the south of China.The reason why the strange situation appeared during that time was the character of the cost which is for the Yicang and it also had a close relation to the XINING political reform and the political struggle.Although the attitude to the system of those in power are different,the granary system played a very important role in the relief of the fire,helping the poor child and lending the seeds to the peasants.However,in the specific course of implementation,the serious shortcomings appeared,which led directly to disintegration of the Yicang system of the late Southern Song Dynasty,and eventually,this national system was taken place by the folk Shecang system.
