Abstract

Xiao Hong is regarded as an exotic flower in Chinese literary world during the May-Fourth period.This genius writer left us many great works during 9 short years.Some studies on Xiao Hong's literary works reveal there is a deviation in her ideological contends from positive to negative.In this paper,there is no denial of the slight difference in her writing style and stylistic mode between the earlier and later period,but a confirmation on the main clue throughout Xiao Hong's literary works,which can be simply summarized as:for life and society.
