Abstract
[Objective]The research aimed to study the effects of GA on seed germination and seedling growth of rice under salt stress.[Method] 60-210 mmol/L NaCl were selected for different salt stress treatments,and plus 10 μmol/L GA3 treatment,the results of seed germination and seedling growth of rice Zhenshan 97 were examined.[Result] Not less than 60 mmol/L NaCl stress remarkably inhibited seed germination and seedling growth of rice,while GA3 treatment remarkably alleviated the inhibition effects from not more than 90 mmol/L NaCl stress on activity index,fist true leaf sheath growth and plant height growth;remarkably alleviated the inhibition effects from NaCl stress with concentrations from 90 mmol/L to 150 mmol/L on seminal root growth;remarkably alleviated the inhibition effects from not more than 180 mmol/L NaCl stress on germination potential and germination index;and remarkably alleviated the inhibition effects from NaCl stress with concentrations from 120 mmol/L to 210 mmol/L on germination rate.[Conclusion]The treatment with 10 μmol/L GA3 could remarkably alleviate the inhibition effects of salt stress with a certain concentration range on seed germination and seedling growth of rice.
