Abstract
Two experiments were carried out in the study.Experiment 1 was to study the effect of different quality of porcine cumulus oocyte complexes(COCs) on parthenogenesis development after parthenogenetic activation. The effect of ion concentration on the parthenogenesis of in vitro maturation(IVM) porcine oocytes was studied in Experiment 2.The results as follows:(1) The blastocysts rate(CR) from the class A porcine oocytes was greatly significantly higher than that from the mixed classes(30.11% vs 9.09%,P0.01).(2) When ionomycin concentration was 5 μmol/L,the CR and the percentage of 4-cell stage embryos 48 h after parthenogenetic activation were 80.35% and 62.50% respectively, which were greatly significantly higher than that using 2 μ mol/l ion(62.22% and 43.33% respectively,P0.01).
