A Comparative Study of Policy toward LangBuErHan Between the Ming Dynasty and the Li Dynasty of Korea

LangBuErHan (郎卜尔罕)was the leader of Maolian Nuchen(毛怜卫女真). The Ming Dynasty strengthened the supervision over its own frontier peoples whom led by LangBuErHan, meanwhile, the Li Dynasty of Korea also tried to pull LangBuErHan over to its own side actively. During the reign of Kings ShiZong and ShiZu, both favor and force were implemented toward LangBuErHan, whom was killed finally by Korean court. The Ming Dynasty intervened in the killing of LangBuErHan without authorization, which reflected the attitude that the Ming Dynasty towards Nuchen people.
