Abstract

Objective To establish a RP-HPLC method for simultaneous determination of contents of gallic acid, corilagin and ellagic acid in Phyllanthus urinaria L.Methods The determination was carried out on a Diamonsil C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm) column,a gradient elution of acetonitrile and 0.2 % acetic acid solution as the mobile phase at a flow rate 1.0 mL/min,and the detection wavelength was 270 nm,and the column temperature was at 30 ℃.Result The linear ranges of gallic acid, corilagin and ellagic acid were 0.2 μg~1.0 μg,0.8 μg~4.0 μg and 0.4 μg~3.2 μg,respectively, and the average recoveries of gallic acid, corilagin and ellagic acid were 100.76%,99.13% and 99.77%,respectively.Conclusion The method established is simple, accurate and reproducible. It can be used for simultaneously determinating the contents of gallic acid, corolagin and ellagic acid in Phyllanthus Urinaria L..
