Abstract
The pollution characteristics of PAHs in aerosols in Handan were quantified with GC-MS and the pollution level was analyzed. The concentration of PAHs changes with function zones and the seasons, its concentrations in airborn particulates in heating season is higher than in non-heating season. The ratio of fluoramthene to pyrene indicates that PAHs is mainly from coal combustion. The strategy to control PAHs pollution are proposed.
