Abstract
Remote sensing technology, hydrological and water quality data, and investigation data were used to evaluate the ecological benefits of ten-year integrated water regulation of the Yellow River in terms of four aspects: the water environment, the type and area of wetlands, and the aquatic biodiversity. The results show that the integrated water regulation of the Yellow River has improved the water environment in the main stream of the river, restored the freshwater wetlands of the Yellow River Delta, promoted the sound development of estuarine ecosystems, increased the flux of nutrients into the sea to a certain extent, and improved the species diversity and quantity of offshore fish.
