Abstract

Using of epichlorohydrin, 36% hydrochloric acid, triethylamine for raw water Synthesis of 3-chloro-2-hydroxy- propyl triethyl ammonium chloride (CTA). In connection with its response theory, the reaction temperature, mixing time, the reaction solution pH, epichlorohydrin and triethylamine hydrochloride with the molar ratio of yield impact. The best synthesis conditions of 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl triethyl ammonium chloride were as follows: under the conditions of synthetic shoes triethylamine hydrochloride, the total reaction time to ensure that 2.5-5 h. the molar ratio of epichlorohydrin and triethylamine is 0.95:1, guarantee reaction system pH = 7-8, stirring time about 16 hours, the temperature does not exceed 55 °C.
