The Reflections on the Aesthetic Tastes of the Folk Song of Hakka

The folk song of Hakka ranks along with Cantonese Han music and Cantonese Han Opera the three famous brands of Hakka music.As its history and culture is concerned,the folk song of Hakka is of crucial importance in the scope of the Study of Hakka,and it has been mentioned in the writings of Huang Zunxian,Luo Xianglin,and so on since Late Qing Dynasty.How big is the room for transmitting and developing it? This paper advances with the connections to its history and present situation and the experiences of teaching practice some reflections on the transmission and development of the local form of traditional folk music from the perspective of promoting its aesthetic tastes.
