Abstract

Culture varies from places to places. Since the nineteen nineties, citizens that live in some cities in the northeast of Guangdong, tend to get together to sing Hakka folk song, which has appeared in succession. This article (dissertation) mainly centers on the realistic instance's. Hakkas living in the down of Meizhou often sing their home-grown songs which called Hakka folk song to each other, the folk song albums exist in Wengyuan County and the associations of Hakka folk song in Shaoguan. Besides, it reports some background knowledge, processes and approaches on this kind of music culture and moves out the appeal that it be of urgency and necessity to collect and study Hakka folk song.
