Abstract
The esterification of methanol and oleic acid with bismuth phosphotungstate as catalyst was studied.Effect of reaction time, catalyst dosage, molar ratio of oleic acid to methanol, etc.on the yield of methyl oleate were carefully investigated. The experiment results show that the best reaction conditions are as follows: when oleic acid is 0.1 mol, molar ratio of methanol to oleic acid is 1.4,catalyst dosage is 1.5 g,reaction time is 4 h,the yield of methyl oleate can reach 93.4%.Moreover,the catalyst can be reused for 5 times without obvious loss of its activity.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
