Abstract

The investigation for the amphibian diversity was carried out in Jiangxi Wuyishan Nature Reserve from 10th to 20th July,2006.The results indicated that there were 28 species belonging to 18 genera,8 families,2 orders in this nature reserve.Among these species,3 species accounting for 10.7% of the total distributed in both Oriental Realm and Palearctic Realm, and the other 25 species accounting for 89.3% of the total distributed in Oriental Realm.Ranidae species were the predominant species and in which Odorrana spp.and Hylarana spp.were the predominant species in the nature reserve.Paa(Paa) jiulongensis and Amolops wuyiensis,2 new records of Jiangxi Province were found in this investigation.Until now, there are 41 species of amphibian in Jiangxi province.
