Abstract
The shallow reservoir of Gaoshangpu Oilfield was the boundary, natural energy driven reservoir. It had sufficient energy, and interval layer between oil and water layers were thinner. To control basal or bottom water plugging, prolong water-free or low water cut oil production period and keep basal or bottom water flowing evenly, the selective chemical water shutoff technology indoor evaluation test and field pilot test were carried out.The indoor evaluation test indicates the dimensionless ratio of water and oil shutoff is 5.25;the effect of pilot test application of well G104-5P35 is obvious and continuous. The amount of decreasing produced water is 68 000 cubic meter and the amount of increasing oil production is 705 tons, and the amount of water cut decreasing is four percent.
