Abstract
The important thought of the Three Representsis a direct response to the political legality of the Communist Party of China in power for a long period of time. Analysing the Three Represents in terms of political legality will help correctly understand this important thought as an integral whole. In the Three Represents the political legality of the Communist Party of China in power for a long period of time is expounded and proved in such aspects as the performance basis, the ideological basis and the mass basis of political legality.
