Abstract

Objective: To investigate the treatment effect of nimodipine combined with salvia miltiorrhiza and dextran in treatment for cerebral infarction. Methods: A total of 194 patients with cerebral infarction were selected in our hospital from August 2011 to June 2013 and randomly divided into two groups. There were 97 patients treated with salvia miltiorrhiza and dextran in the control group and 97 patients treated with nimodipine combining salvia miltiorrhiza and dextran in the observation group. Course of treatment was 2 weeks. Neural function defect score and daily life ability score were recorded before and after treatment. Hemodynamic indexes were analyzed in the two groups before and after treatment. Treatment effects, changes of cerebral infarction lesion range and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, neural function defect score, fibrinogen, plasma viscosity, platelet aggregation index and hematocritg significantly decreased in both two groups. Daily life ability scores were significantly elevated in both two groups. Neural function defect score, fibrinogen, plasma viscosity, platelet aggregation index and hematocritg in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Daily life ability score and total effective rate in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Reduction of cerebral infarction lesion range in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group. Area of cerebral infarction in the observation group was significantly smaller than that in the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P0.05). Incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion: The effect of nimodipine combined with salvia miltiorrhiza and dextran in treatment of cerebral infarction is significant. The treatment can significantly improve the hemodynamic indexes, neural function defect situation and daily life ability. Treatment has less adverse reaction and high safety, which can improve prognosis of patients.
