Abstract
Objective: To investigate the treatment of intraventricular hemorrhage via minimally invasive lateral ventricle puncture and external drainage.Methods: Forty-eight cases with intraventricular hemorrhage were randomly divided into treatment and control groups in our hospital.Patients in control group were treated conventionally,while patients in treatment group were treated minimal-invasively via lateral ventricle puncture and external drainage.Results: The total effective rate of treatment group was 83.33%,which was significantly higher than control group's 50.0%.The mortality was significantly lower in treatment group than control group(P0.05).Conclusion: Intraventricular hemorrhage can be managed effectively via minimally invasive lateral ventricle puncture and external drainage.Whole procedure is easy and with less injury.The morbidity and mortality is much lower.Early surgery can improve the cure rate and quality of life and is worthy to promote.
