Abstract
In order to provide Anammox sludge for advanced treatment of poultry manure with low C/N,different concentrations of anaerobic sludge were inoculated in UASB reactor to cultivate Anammox bacteria. The experimental results show that when influent concentrations of NH+4-N and NO-2-N are all 150 mg/L,and TN load is 0.36 kg/(m3·d),the removal rate of TN is above 80% in No.1 reactor with low sludge concentration after operation of 130 d.When the influent concentrations of NH+4-N and NO-2-N are all 340 mg/L,and TN load is 0.80 kg/(m3·d),the removal rate of TN is between 75% to 85% in No.2 reactor with high sludge concentration after operation of 200 d.The ratios among NH+4-N removal,NO-2-N removal and NO-3-N production are 1 ∶(1.1 to 1.2) ∶(0.25 to 0.45) and 1 ∶(1.1 to 1.2) ∶(0.30 to 0.40) respectively during the stable operation period of No.1 and No.2 reactors. The effluent pH value is higher than the influent pH value. It is obvious that the reactor with higher concentration of anaerobic sludge has stronger resistance to impact load, and it is more advantageous to cultivation of Anammox sludge.
