Abstract

Based on the principles of landscape ecological planning, the eco_sensitivity area distribution was decided in the domain of Yangzhou and counteracts were given out. Among the agglomeration along the Yangtse River, according to the natural succession and economic development, the structure that preserving the natural development axis and strengthening the economic axis was formed. According to the urban construction goals and corridors existence, a 1 km_wide green loop corridor around the city, two strips of green and water open space from south to north, and three green corridors from west to east were planned. At the same time, the shelters along the rivers were promoted. Thus, the network of green system was formed, which is used as the cooling bridge for Yangzhou City. By this, it can strengthen the air circulation, lessening and precluding the hot_island and other shortcomings of the city.
