Abstract
The 4.7km-long inner green belt along the city moat in Beijing Southeastern Second Ring Road is planned according to the landscape ecology and the grand city landscape theory. The ecological recovering design is made by reorganizing and using its original ecology, built landscape and water body resources, and in accordance with the sustainable development and human recreation patterns. Artificial plant groups are scientifically set up and graceful landscape is created. The design emphasizes the co-existence of human and the nature, the balance of the diversity, appreciation and economic quality of ecological planting, and blind seeking for fashion is abandoned. It is built into a picturesque ecological landscape corridor with Beijing city features and special water system scenes.
