Treatment of Scapulohumeral Periarthritis with Acupuncture and Massage

Abstract

Fifty seven cases of scapulohumeral periarthritis were treated with acupuncture and massage,33 cases treated with other Chinese drugs were setup as the control group.Result:In the treatment gruop,25 cases were cured,30 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective and the total effective rate was 96.5%;In the control group 5 cases were cured,20 cases were effective,8 cases were ineffective and the total effective rate was 75.8%.The difference between the two groups was significant(u c=5.0909,P0 01).
