Simulation of Health Seeking Behavior in Rural Population

Objective To reveal the characteristics of health seeking behavior in rural population and the evolvement process of system structure.Methods We constructed system dynamics behavior model,and simulated the health seeking behavior in rural population and the evolvement of system structure.Results The health resource gap between county and countryside areas has been widened.The patient flow is centralized to county medical institutions,and the self-treatment proportion is kept at a high level.Conclusion Resource utilization of township health center is relatively lower,and as the system goal,population health development has some deviation.The main characteristics of rural health service utilization are that health seeking flow of rural population has increasingly been concentrated in advanced health institutions.
