Abstract
Objective To observe the influence of policy intervention on health seeking behavior, and provide the methodologica1 evidences for the policy making of rural health delivery system. Methods The system dynamics model of health seeking behavior in Chinese rural population was applied to make a series of trials, which contains single-factor intervention and multi-factor intervention. Results The self-treatment price elasticity of outpatient was higher than that of inpatient, and multi-factor policy intervention was more efficient than single-factor.Conclusion System agents perform different characteristics in rural health delivery system. The government should make different interventions according to the population with different disease characteristics,so as to achieve a reasonable flow of health seeking population.
