Abstract

[Objective] The research aimed to provide theoretical basis and technical methods for the clinical diagnosis of canine vertebra diseases.[Method] Using myelography with iohexol for canine, the value of iohexol on the diagnosis of canine vertebra diseases were discussed. The image effect, delay effect and toxic effect of iohexol on the myelography were studied.[Result] When 0.45 ml/kg iohexolin was used in myelography, the effect of X-ray film was the best.X-ray film could meet the demands of the clinical diagnosis and the best time was 10-20 min.The dissolved speed of iohexol in animal body after myelography was related with the myelography concentration.[Conclusion] The image effect with 0.45 ml/kg iohexolin could meet the demands for the clinical diagnosis of canine vertebra diseases.
