Abstract

Objective: To detect the expressios of p16InK4a and ki67 in CINⅠ-Ⅱ in young women and to analyze the relations between their expressions and the grade of the CIN. Methods: 56 women( ≤35 y) with a histologic diagnosis of CIN Ⅰ- Ⅱ,who attended a colposcopy with cone biopsy in Peking University First Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology out-patient department in 2010,were included in this study. p16InK4a and ki67 Immunohistochemical staining were performed on all tissues to detect their expressions. Results: ① In punch biopsy tissues: positive expression rate of p16InK4a in CINⅠ and CINⅡ were 30. 0% and 80. 6%,respectively; positive expression rate of Ki67 in CINⅠ and CINⅡ were 20. 0%,77. 8%,respectively,the positive expression rates of p16InK4aand Ki67 in CINⅡ were significantly higher than those of CINⅠ( P0. 001). ②In punch biopsy tissues and LEEP tissues: there were significant differences in positive expression rate of p16InK4a and ki67 among different grade of CIN( P0. 001),both p16InK4a and ki67 expression and lesion of CIN have a positive correlation( r =0. 644,r =0. 645). Conclusions: There are both p16InK4a and Ki67 expressions in CIN in young women, and expressions of p16InK4a and ki67 were both positively correlated with the grade of CIN lesion. The results demonstrate their role as markers in supporting the diagnosis of grade of CIN lesion.
