Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical diagnosic value of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(anti-CCP) antibody and rheumatoid factor(RF) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Anti-CCP antibody was determined by quantitative GICA and rheumatoid factor by BNP nephelometer in 52 cases of RA,37 cases of non-RA rheumatic diseases and 15 healths. Results The diagnosis specificity, positive predictive value, positive /negative likelihood ratios of combinate determination of anti-CCP antibodyand RF were significantly higher than either one. Conclusion The combinate determination of anti-CCP antibody and rheumatoid factor will remarkably improve the accuracy for diagnosis of RA.
