Effects of Nebulized Budesonide Combined with Terbutaline in Patients with Bronchial Asthma of Acute Attack

Objective To observe the effect of nebulized budesonide combined with terbutaline in patients with bronchial asthma of acute attack in out-patient. Methods 48 light and moderate patients sufferd from acute attack of bronchial asthma were divided randomly into two groups(26 cases in therapy group and 22 cases in control group).The patient in therapy group inhaled nebulized budesonide and terbutaline at first,7days later,inhaled budesonide aerosol;and the patient in control used budesonide aerosol salbuterol aerosol(increasing 2 times dosage respectively).Before and after therapy 3~(rd),7~(th)and 14~(th)day,the symptom was scored.Results The symptom score in the therapy group were lower than those in control at the 3~(rd) and 7~(th) day,but no difference at 14~(th) day.Conclusion The effect of nebulizing budesonde and terbutaline is quick,which is the first step for acute attack of light and moderate bronchial asthma.
